We've Moved

Greetings from Washington

After years of anticipation and lots of nonsense from the big ol’ Navy machine, Jake and I are finally together in northwestern Washington. By some stroke of luck, I found a rental on Craigslist that if it were remotely conveniently located 1. wouldn’t be available and 2. would cost double, so we accept the 45 minute commute and savor our time at this little slice of heaven. The adjustment has been more difficult than I expected so feeling comfortable here has been critical.

There’s much to be done in terms of decor, but I’m taking it slow and waiting for the right pieces to find me…even if it means living with my books on the floor for a few months.

Don’t you just love the ceilings? And it has a gas stove. Swoon.

Updated pictures soon. For now, a mattress on the floor is enough.
